Fear and Gratitude

One day with our family we went to burgers at a restaurant called Burger King. I was just a kid like my brother and my cousin, we were having fun in the kids area, there was a big slide. The parents ordered the food and they were talking while we play. The food was ready and my dad went inside the kids area and called the three of us to go eat. Fast we put our shoes back on and we run very exited to our table. While we were finishing eating three big guys came inside with their guns pointing at the people. They were black and muscled and they shouted "Everybody down!" My aunt lay on top of the handbags trying to hide them. I stayed still beside the window I felt my mothers hand that went inside my pocket leaving something inside. I placed my hand in my pocket and touched my mothers engagement ring and clock. I didnt take out my hand until they left. I saw thrugh the window how the went runing with some handbags and money from the cash register. While they left i felt my mothers embracement and a relief in my body.

There are special persons in my life that i feel gratitude to and one of them is my grandma. I can remember that for some period of time me and my brother were sleeping at my grandma's house. My mother was ill and she wasnt able to wake us up early in the morning and make breackfast. We slept at her house, she woked us up the next morning and while we got dressed she prepared us breackfast and then she was the one that drove us to school. We returned in the bus to our house and after eating there my grandma came and pick us up to get to her house we do homework and sleep there. I have this enermous gratitude to her because she took the role of a mother to use for about a month or more than that.
